Tea & Coffee World Cup is coming to the UK

We are very pleased to announce that for the first time ever, the Tea & Coffee World Cup will be held in the UK. The show will be held 3-5 September 2018 at the NEC in the vibrant city of Birmingham. After a survey was sent to all Tea & Coffee Trade Journal subscribers, the UK was the clear winner.

As the stereotypical ‘nation of tea drinkers’, the tea industry has always boomed in the UK, with around 60.2 billion cups of it being drunk every year. But it’s not only the traditional brands that are being drunk – the popularity of fruit, herbal, spiced and green teas and tisanes have increased dramatically.

And the UK has also adopted the café culture, with coffee shop visitors purchasing an estimated 2.3 billion cups of coffee a year. Coffee pours a huge £8.9bn into the UK economy and last year alone saw a further 1,222 coffee shops open – an average of 3.4 new stores a per day.

The NEC in Birmingham is the UK’s number one venue of choice for organisers, exhibitors and visitors. The exhibition centre’s convenient location is accessible by road, rail and the international airport. Birmingham Airport’s recently completed runway extension has opened up new long haul routes to Asia and the US West Coast.

Birmingham itself is described as the ‘capital of culture’, with friendly people, delicious food and fantastic architecture. Due to the huge amount of support we have already received, we are sure this will be the best World Cup yet. Bookings for exhibitors are now open, please email us to book your space now. Early Bird rates available.
